PIONEER PD-M90X REFERENCE 6-disc CHANGER (1987/1988)

i had wanted one of these for the better part of a decade,
before i even knew about the PD-91 or most of PIONEER's higher-end CDPs, in fact.

i got my first example of this player off a local CRAIGSLIST,for $35,
in somewhat rough shape. maybe a couple years later,
i came across a MINT but non-functional example on the BAY,
and jumped on it, swapping out it's faulty parts with the good ones
in my initial M90X, and producing one perfect example
that works flawlessly to this moment. it'll spin most every CD-R
i have ever loaded into it, and it does sound quite good too.

i seldom actually ever use it,
-it was intended by me to be novelty and collectors piece-
but it serves beautifully as something of a companion to my PD-91,
and a reassuring one, considering it's reliable performance
on the off-times i give it a little exercise...

i was one of TH's earlier members, since 2007,
not long after it's formation, actually, one of those many migrants from AUDIOKARMA during that infamous mass exodus they had at the time...
