From the 3rd to last Man From Uncle season 4 episode - A Thorens TD-150 MKI with a McIntosh C24 Pre amp. I like how they treated the LP's all tossed about with no sleeves.

Al Pacino was in a movie called "Sea of Love" which I think had a tt playing an old copy of "Sea of Love".
It has been years since I have seen it so maybe someone else can tell more about it.

And that was when that Thorens and Mac were new and not cheap. Funny they never showed an amp or speakers...

There was a UK TV series about 2005 called Afterlife. The two main characters (and others) all seemed to use turntables with seperates based systems prominent in all the shots in their homes. They often played records. I suspect the director was a vinyl fan, it was that prominant.

The whole intrigue of this Columbo episode revolves around a turntable with music selector. Well, 1977, the swan song. Should have been a CD-player instead, the victim would have been still alive.
Got the model.

The Flintstones always had Rock turntables, complete with bug music.

Married with Children had a turntable and receiver in the background as does Family guy.

Lost episodes had a turntable, one specific episode had Willie Nelson playing Shotgun Willie.

Yes. I don't have a turntable; I have turntables- got three of them. Come to think of it, I'll go listen to one now before I do my morning jog!

Yes, we do. And we even put one in our 5 and 6 year-old daughters' bedroom.

I'm a bit late to this thread - was wondering when someone would chime in with this one.

Clockwork is my favorite movie EVAR. Wifey absolutely hates it.

In Diabólica malicia, there is a record player just before Britt Ekland (the beauty Mary Goodnight from 007) undresses - double point
