Anybody know anything about this format? It's supposed to be higher rez than SACD. I read about it in Grammophone Magazine.

Are you sure it is DXD? As SACD is DSD.

Its been said DXD is supposed to be higher rez then DSD, but I've also heard the contrary of that after some period of time. DXD is still multibit PCM, where DSD is 1 bit. Problems with both. Some mastering uses DXD to mix DSD music, but that would convert the DSD file twice when the final output is done.
