Now that's what I'm talking about! Although I have to ask where you are sourcing your cases from? (PM me if you wanna keep it private) To be honest, I'm not even sure what search term to enter into eBay. I'm also considering just doing up stickers for the covers they come in, although I'm also just considering keeping them all out of their covers but in a box (covers for the ones I take out that day).

*****

On a different note, entering titles onto that classical music disc, ARGH! Just track 1 is "Tchiakovsky: Piano Concerto No. 1 In B-Flat Minor (Op.23) - i Allegro non troppo e molto maestoso". The thing is, there's six tracks but that first one is pretty much the only one I would want to play. I'm thinking of blanking the whole minidisc. Although I will say it compressed well. I recorded it in my Pioneer with ASRAC and I doubt I'd hear a difference if I recorded it in ATRAC-R (which is my other option).

If you search EBay for minidisc case, you'll see a user in the Netherlands who is selling those cases. I'm not sure if anyone in the States sells them.

You can also get them from Amazon in packs of 20, 50 or 100:

Not sure where you're based (Australia?) but your local Amazon might also have them.

Have you got the Group function on your recorders/players? You could then title the group "Tchiakovsky: Piano Concerto No. 1 In B-Flat Minor (Op.23)" and then the tracks within the group "i Allegro non troppo e molto maestoso" etc.

Might make it a little bit easier. It's also a lot easier if you have a deck with a PC keyboard input!

And it stays that way until the last song is again at a normal volume. It's like somebody bumped a button during the CD mastering. The cassette never did that and I'm pretty sure the record wouldn't have. Anyway, until I do some volume adjusting, I'm wiping over that minidisc with this:

Click on the image to get to the Discogs page and thus the track listing! From here on in, any album I post the cover of, I'll make it a link, whether in this thread or any other.

Yes, there's a function called "Name Clip" which is like a copy and paste function but I can't seem to get it to work despite following the instructions. Maybe I'm reading them wrong. Either way, it does call for some experimenting!

But, alas, no keyboard input. I'd love that option!

On one disc, 72 minutes, from original mastered CD's.

After ages of being frustrated that a minidisc can only hold 80 minutes (my deck doesn't have LP) I was looking at pre-recorded minidiscs on eBay (I don't have any, I'd like one or two at least!) I suddenly had a flash of what my collection needs!

It's been in "My Latest Tape" now, at Jesse's request, it is my latest minidisc. Like I said, if he asks for it, I'll make it for him.

My memory is a little hazy but Breakfast In America could possibly be the first 7" single I ever bought. June 1979 sounds about right. I'll have been 11 and a little young for punk. Made up for that later mind.

But more on topic...

Perversely I've started putting my Spotify playlists on MD. As I'm listening to Spotify, any new songs it suggests that I quite like I put in a playlist like most others do. When it gets to about 15 tracks I transfer them on to minidisc. The sheer convenience of streamed music is lost but it's just fun messing with the MDs.

I've also just picked this up off The Bay

Received it today and it plays on everything apart from the car head unit

I paid 15 quid for it which is a lot but I thought I should own at least one pre-recorded minidisc. I was also watching Michael Jackson's HIStory but it went for 48!
