Wanna take charge of the situation?

AC/DC - Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26wrvblgGP0

If you're havin' trouble with the high school head
He's givin' you the blues
You want to graduate but not in 'is bed
Here's what you gotta do
Pick up the phone
I'm always home
Call me any time
Just ring
36 24 36 hey
I lead a life of crime

Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap
Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap
Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap
Dirty deeds and they're done dirt cheap
Dirty deeds and they're done dirt cheap

You got problems in your life of love
You got a broken heart
He's double dealin' with your best friend
That's when the teardrops start, fella
Pick up the phone
I'm here alone
Or make a social call
Come right in
Forget about him
We'll have ourselves a ball

Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap
Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap
Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap
Dirty deeds and they're done dirt cheap
Dirty deeds and they're done dirt cheap

If you got a lady and you want her gone
But you ain't got the guts
She keeps naggin' at you night and day
Enough to drive ya nuts
Pick up the phone
Leave her alone
It's time you made a stand
For a fee
I'm happy to be
Your back door man

Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap
Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap
Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap
Dirty deeds and they're done dirt cheap yeah
Dirty deeds and they're done dirt cheap

Concrete shoes, cyanide, TNT
Done dirt cheap
Neckties, contracts, high voltage
Done dirt cheap

Dirty deeds
Do anything you wanna do
Done dirty cheap
Dirty deeds
Dirty deeds
Dirty deeds
Done dirt cheap

I'm in a relationship where I can't quite tell if it's emotionally abusive or not. I'm looking for songs to get my anger working so I can either put my foot down on some things... or just blow the canopy and eject.

That one is perfect

I like the idea of using a mixtape to work up the gall to break up

"Two Time Woman" and "Not That Kind of Guy" by Stryper off their "Against The Law" album.

Also from Stryper's "Against The Law" album you might want to listen to for your self "Ordinary Man" and "Caught in the Middle". There are others on there worth a listen & to read all the lyrics.

http://www.songlyrics.com/stryper/against-the-law/

Good luck.

Talking

*yawn* you guys are sooooOOOOooooo Generic.

I need a mix tape made specially for you because you all break MY heart and I'm tired of this Sh*t music selection....seriously? Stuff like Chilliwack, Zep AC-DC...comon guys!!! what are you like 15 or 16 years old still?

I'm really sad to say this, but so far NO ONE on this site has gotten me into a really awesome or obscure band, and it's ironic and baffling because you guys are all tapeheads and should be into wayyy more bands than like the stuff that you'd hear every day on the radio.

play me something I've never heard that blows my socks off?!!?!?

Great breakup type song that is Still somewhat Generic for its time IMO would be something off the NAZZ Album or something, stuff sounds like Cream, or Who or Hendrix sounding stuff but at least for every ten thousand times you'd hear those bands heres something still oldschool you'd overlook before you drop a needle on your Happy Jack LP or something at least.

Come on you can do better!!!

Then it's time to be strong and get out, now. Any relationship that's going to be fulfilling and last shouldn't have to feel like 'work' ...to make it work. Nip it in the bud now. The seeds of what you're seeing now will only grow and fester over time. Like an ugly tree growing too close to a house foundation at an awkward angle. It's a wedge. If you don't deal with it right away, over time it will get bigger, worse, cause stress, bust up the foundation and ultimately ruin your house! Time to move on and find another that inspires you every day, before you throw months or years down a hole and realize you shouldda gotten out a long time ago and "where did all those years go??" Especially if you're young, because if you wait, each and every day you wait, all the good gals/guys get sucked up daily eventually leaving you to sort through a bunch of dregs and problem childs (relationship failures), which you may have now (or be one in the making??) .

Don't let break-up music be a passive-aggressive excuse to temporarily band-aid something that's not there and never will be and string things along. If things aren't lining up, you need to take a non-emotional approach to find the other piece of the puzzle that fits. That's just the way it is. Or, you can spend the next 20 years doing like my buddy and trying to fit a square peg into a round hole and feel like crap everyday wishing he would have had the guts to cut ties 19 years ago like he kept telling us back then. The other girl he kind of had his eye on back then was a much better catch for him, she's happily married, coulda been to him. That's what being 'afraid' can do.

Got a lot of years of happy marriage under my belt to be able to say this ...and watched numerous buddies, co-workers and family members who struggled for years trying to control train that ultimately wrecked anyway. A lot of them even had doubts before they got married!! And, like many on this board, I've gotten a chance to see how plenty of happy partnerships work too.

Move on good friend!
