Arrow Cool interface for browsing live online radio

This is neat. Live streams you can tune into based on a google-earth type map.

Move the map around ("drag" it around with the computer mouse) Get one of the green dots in the white circle in the center and you will see a list to the right with available channels for that geographic place.
You can also simply click on the green dots to select them.

If no green dot is in the center all you hear is static.

This is what a radio receiver panel looks like for the 21st century. Great find!

That site was a great find! I'm having fun with that.

An interesting find was Russian: http://radio.garden/live/anadyr/radio-purga/

Didn't care for the music, but it was interesting because it seemed to feature fairly modern pop/dance, and English tracks in the middle of nowhere. Mind you, it was ~12:30 in the morning there.

In contrast, the northern regions in my province featured French covers of easy listening tracks from the 60's and 70's.

Alaska seemed to love classic rock, and specifically The Rolling Stones. Brown Sugar came up as the original and a raw garage cover on different stations.
