Sony wm-170

Hi guys. I have just bought a Sony wm-170 and replaced the belt and fitted with new battery but it is still dead. Is there anyone here who can repair Sony walkmans? Or are you guys aware of a Sony Walkman repair shop in the UK?
Many thanks
