One could buy that and be a poser, set it near their deck and let everyone think they use TOTL tapes.

Considering Type II cassettes are now selling for $10 and up on EBay...........some collectors probably can't afford to buy tapes...........

I wonder if I could return it if I didn't like the "tape" he mentions in his listing. OH, I could ask him if the tape has a label on it and why isn't it in the picture??

We have yet to see a listing for the cellophane wrapping of a Metal Master or whatever, "just unwrapped".

Not just one but enough to fill the MT box! I much rather listen to music via tapes than collect them as blanks. But each to their own.

This ISN'T the first time an empty tape box/carton has been listed & it won't be the last. Though the condition of this box is better than some others I have seen.

Now with a good condition box like this, would that increase the value of the 5 NOS tapes you have that don't have their box? It might with these tapes. But the question is would it increase it by more than the cost of getting the box thus making it worth buying the box?

We all know that a piece of gear with it's original box, packing & manuals is usually a bit more desirable than one with out (provided the condition of the equipment is similar).

On a side note it looks like it didn't sell.
