revox b77 mk II

hi guys, after much searching in my country for a decent recorder, i came across this revox b77 mk2 , but am unable to find much info on this, it came with the users manual, but is it any good, i paid 10 times the price i paid for my akai, so i'm hoping its a good buy and not just another impulse buy screw-up of mine.

thanks guys, thats what i was hoping for, as i mentioned i really know little about these, and it was quiet a gamble i took.
The machine is still basically brand new, with very little time play, it came with Revox reels and a couple of TDK tapes, but i need some kind of adaptor to fit the TDK tapes as they have a different centre, any idea what you call this adaptor as i dont know where to start looking for one, the guy who sold it to me did'nt have any.
All i'll need then is to figure out which is the best way to record with the machine; yahoooo very excited!!!!!

You need "NAB hub adaptors" These are universal, so any brand will work.

He is correct, but I would look on Ebay for the Revox "Nab" twist locks. You can purchase the aluminum "Hubs" that screw onto the Revox nabs.

Here's a good ftp site for various operating, service, parts manuals.

That's a nice deck, if it's in good shape and not run down? I own one myself!
We would like to see your new toy. Can you post some pictures?
