..... I never noticed the Dragon! I like how they had it on manual cal on ZX and level setting to populate the signal meters for that "extra" lighting effect. I assume they did not kill it, the top deck seems to have the damage. Bet they cleaned it up and sold it!!!
![]() May have been covered before....just spotted it. |

I can't watch any film these days without looking for scenes featuring vintage analog gear ... maybe it might make a good thread!

I used to cringe whenever I saw that scene.
It was only years later that I noticed that the Nak was left unharmed! |

Well that's bizarre ... I am watching "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" (... again!) and then during the scene where Rooney rings the doorbell you get a full screen view of a 1983-84 Maxell XLII (no idea what it is being played in though).
... the bizarre bit is looking at the back of the DVD the film is directed by John Hughes who also directed "Sixteen Candles", which is also mentioned on the sleeve. |

... or the Nak RX505 on "Nine 1/2 Weeks"... Of course, Kim Basinger was also something nice to look at

Yes, that was her prime! The years have taken their toll, unfortunately.
