For that price, I had to buy a few pair. Not as bad as you think, certainly good enough for cheap speakers on the go that don't use any power. They sound better that the speakers in my laptop.

For that price, ...

$15.95 --> $2.88 --> $0.69. Yikes, that's some deep discount. Maybe I should move those big Paradigms away and replace them with these?!? *grin*

I have the speakers hooked into Dayton T-class amp, that $45 one they sell at Parts Express. They throw in the speakers for free, but I bought 4 more pair. C'mon; they're only 69 cents! The 1/8 stereo plug was cut off so I could wire the speakers into the amp. I then have the source hooked into an old Radio Shack 5-band EQ, connecting that to the amp. With that set up, I actually get a decent low end.

These speakers sound as good, if not better, than some bookshelf speakers that cost $30-$50+/pair. FOR SIXTY-NINE CENTS!!! I think the equilizer has a lot to do with getting a decent sound out of them. These speakers come apart & I'm going to do some tinkering with the other pairs.
