Try to send an email to parts@teac.com but I think wood cases aren't available anymore.

You can try to contact Teac/Tascam and ask, but its doubtful they do, but try anyway- never hurts to just find out from them.
I would suggest to keep an eye on the Ebay listings. From time to time, sellers offer parts, or a non-working unit for not much money.
There is also a Yahoo reel-to-reel Group (message board) where other knowledgeable people might be able to help you.
You can also ask on other sites: homerecording.com, tascamforums.com, gearslutz.com, tapeop.com ...

Hi Angel;
I was at the Factory Service Station when they discontinued that wood case.
It cost near $100. What I can tell you is that they are not worth it. Every one I have seen from servicing over 36 years- they have not been around that long, but just my record, is that they all started to break down pretty quick. The corners cracked, chipped, sometimes moisture got in and made the surface look funny. No replacement for the real thing. I have a number of them here that the customers left to me. The box itself is only good for measurements to make a real one. They also were a thing even as vented that kept the heat in so in that respect they are not better.Their only utility is if the deck is sitting out in the open on a cabinet, otherwise in a stereo enclosure they are a waste of time. The original plastic case is under the wood case so the wood can come off at any time. When decks were serviced and shipped, we always told the customer to remove the deck from the wood case to keep it from damage in shipping. They were probably discontinued in the late 80's 85 or 86 I would guess. As with Sony any accessory or remote control is the first thing to be discontinued followed by cosmetic pieces of a deck. It happen in the first few years after production stops.
