I've a number of new RMGI 468 reels but I'd like to try some ATR. However I've yet to see it in 1800' 7" reels.

saw this thread, looked in all the usual places; yeah, yer right. i couldn't find any either.

That would be quite simply because ATR doesn't make 1800 footers (and for that matter, 3600's). That is 1.0 mil tape, which as much as I too would love to see it, ATR does not currently offer. ATR is 1.5 mil only and thus comes in only those two lengths: 1200' on a 7" reel and 2400' on a 10".
