Which deck is better Teac or Technics?

How does technics RS 1500, 1506, and 1700 compares to Teac X2000R, M?
In sound quality , warmth, built quality, and durability.

The Technics transport is better. In my opinion, the stock sonics of both are pretty horrible, but the Teac is slightly better.

The TECHNICS and TEAC transport are both much better then the transports of STUDER, REVOX and OTARI.

But why do you think the TECHNICS transport is better than the TEAC DUAL CAPSTAN transport?

Teac may have a name higher in the pecking order than Technics but who cares,,Teac/Tascam make some pretty fair decks my C3X is a tank at about 20#,and sounds as good as my 2 other decks which are Naks

I am curious to learn how you came to the conculsion that Technics and Teac transports are superior to Otari, Revox and even the Studer...

BTW, the Technics transport is indeed better than TEAC from first hand experiences.
