Does anyone here have the F series powered sub woofers from Velodyne??

yes. i have the 1800, and until recently also had the 1500.

what's up?

No just wondering since i didnt see any posts about them, the F1500 is a great unit and i can only imagine the F1800 is that much more.

the 1800 is TOTALLY different animal.

the crossover electronics in the two are completely different. the 1500 has a LOT of 'hangover', where the 1800 is MUCH 'cleaner' in terms of cut-off coverage, etc. it's impossible to use the 1500 in a 2 channel MUSIC system and NOT hear the hangover. it simply cannot be tuned to not interfere with the satellites....whereas the 1800 can. thus, i was using the 1500 for home theater.
