I could not find a place for this thread so i thought i'd place it here. If i need to move this just let me know and I will.
I have a few bits of literature, mostly for Trio Kenwood stuff from the 70s to early 80s.
I also have some HK and Rotel stuff too If my mind serves me correctly, again from this time period.
From memory since i have not dug into these files for years, its the model lineups for all their audio equipment at this time, all full colour pages on semi glossy paper in well presented books.
I know i also have the two separate "brochure books" for Kenwoods two top of the line decks back then, the KX1060 and 2060. Gladly i own these same items as well so its all the more impressive i have the literature for them.
What ever happened to this sort of "customer drool" stuff in the 80s and 90s, it seemed to have just disappeared, sadly its now all a distant memory.
So who wants to see some vintage photos of such equipment.

Oh, I think there would be many of us interested in viewing your brochures. If you like, you can also contribute to Njord's "Vintage Audio Literature Database." He'd be thrilled to add to the reference material he already has on tap.

Much of this is moving to a digital format. Going to the manufacturer's site to get the poop sheet on the screen.

This is no where near as nice as having the goods in hand in the sound room away from the computer.

That said, just being able to see these old docs on the screen is nice. I have dl'ed a number of poop sheets over the years.

Sure would be nice to see them in the database.

I would be! However, I am too stretched out to commit myself to any major scanning jobs at the moment, so if anybody here (incl. Agtbar) is interested in doing some "volunteer work" to get these docs digitized, there is work to do: I already have several members here with paper literature "backed up" for scanning waiting for me to find some scanning capacity.
