Here are the latest purchases I got this week. Yesterday I got 3 Fuji ZII 90 minute cassettes in the mail; won them for only $3.25! Today, UPS delivered 2 brand new boxes of TDK SA-X 60 tapes. There's a guy on Ebay selling them for about $19/box, possible the best deal on Ebay.

OMIGAWD Was it a whole week ago somebdoy swore off buying any more tapes? I mean, a whole week? :D

I said there were exceptions; these were the exceptions.

In the future, I'm going to limit my buying to Maxell XLII-S & Fuji ZII. I'd also include multiple lots (3 or more) of Sony HF-S 90, but that is not likely to ever happen.

Ah, a list. I once made lists. Then these lists became subject to the "Rules were meant to be broken" addage. Now I don't bother with lists. [Squirrelly Mexican bandit voice] We dun't need no stinkin' lists. Now I just buy. My wife makes the list [Shouting fingernails on the chalkboard voice] Stop buying those tapes!! Whaddaya need MORE tapes for anyway?!?

Ahhahahahaha! I knew it!

Good scores though, and I agree with you about the great deal that guy has with the $19/box SA-X60 tapes. I bought two right away when you first told me about them, then I ordered another one because I have a problem, and it arrived today.

At the risk of being accused of sounding self contadictory, "no more expensive metals for me" I finally managed to secure some long sought/cherished AGFA metals; two Pure METAL IV HDX and a pair of FeCr III CARAT HDX.

How good these are I don't know, I'm playing catch up on some esoteric tapes very late in the game.

Scorpion, those JVCs are very underrated. Wonderful tape. Girls have to like them -they're so sensitive (I estimate similar rising sens curve to SA-X, perhaps steeper).

Those rare BASFs are very special though.
