It looks good but did they make a three head model?? Just wondering: Do you still have it in it's packaging like the pic? and did you get more tapes for it?

That's awesome. I remember Kenner's Close-N-Play record player but don't remember this. If the one pictured is yours it looks to be in great shape.

Took the pic today. Shown as found. Odd lady. She was a buyer for Saks and lost her house to foreclosure about a dozen years ago. Judge said the contents were hers but she never picked up. House and garage was packed with new vintage items. Speaking of pull strings another piece I got from the house was a Beanie and Cecil game (boxed), The Cecil hand puppet has a working pull string.

It was in Orange , CA. No audio (wasn't buying any at the time anyway) but the stuff she had was awesome. I bought a pile of the "Toys," Dark Shadows game, Laugh-In etc. and other stuff for $10. Went back and dug out a set of Hanna Barbera (Yogi, Huckleberry Hound, etc.) t.v. trays ($1 for four) and a couple other things. Dumb thing was the buyers had piled stuff in the backyard and there was a pile of "paper" about three feet high and ten feet in diameter. Old photos, certificates from the turn of the century—literally a ton of stuff. She never threw anything away. I later found out what old ephemera goes for*eyepop*. Oh well, being in advertising I should've known.

I somewhat remember seeing those back in the 70's at a local store and thinking that it looked like they used cassette tape. I was only about 6 or 7 at the time so it's kinda fuzy.
I red an article in Replication News a few years back and it featured (as part of obsolete tech series) those.
