Nice, but doesn't do well with CD-R's. One of these days I'll burn an audio CD-R and see if that makes a difference.

looks formidable enough. have you tried writing your discs at 8x or less? vintage CDPs tend to have issues with CD-Rs recorded any faster. believe it or not, there is actually NO difference between "AUDIO" and "COMPUTER" blanks...

Darn! Suckered again. I'll take the burn rate under consideration. That's a nice Denon. The Kyocera backs up my Sony 608ESD. No nudies.

I am the proud owner of three of their decks; a 410, 510 and 610 and they hav no problem with any CDRs I have recorded, Maybe I'm just lucky*hope*

Surprisingly, I've heard that the lower model Kyoceras are okay with the CDR's. Passing by a yard sale I was getting some Infinity 2500 speakers when I saw a cdp. Gave it a try and the tray was sticking so I passed. I now think it was the 810. Probably could have got it for a buck.*fit*
