Dragon Line Output

Has anyone attempted to convert a Dragon's line output from variable to fixed?

I rather dislike the front output level control knob affecting both line and headphones, and would like the knob to control only the headphone volume.

No, but I wouldn't think it would be technically hard to do, but I think the headphone amp is a fixed gain and the line out/phone in gain is what the volume adjusts. So you'd have to split off and duplicate a fixed gain amp for the line side on a separate board. Of course, the Dragon is the worst laid out and congested deck I've ever seen in my life to add this on....

You can move the line out pick-off point easily but you have to add 2 muting transistors.
