This rae the sweetest speaker I heard, mids to die for, silky highs and decent base, it doesn't go to the lowest octave but it hides it well.

I likey!! British speaks are an aquired taste. I loved my Celestion DL-6 II's till I blew the woofer on one, yes the woofer! the titainium tweet still works, btw, nice Macs!! Anyone with SAE stuff, gets bonus points from me *Hi5*

Ooooo hakka, that gave me the tinglies, nice stuff, I'd forgotten how much the SAE preamp looks like the Marantz consolette control center.

The Harbeth line is among the finest speakers available today. I had the 7ES as well, and also the Monitor 30's.
As you say iamhifi, midrange and top end to die for. The Monitor 40's are incredible, and if could just win a lottery....

Still kick myself for selling the 30's, cause I can't afford them now even used !
