In broadening my horizons lately, I happened accross some music that was just magnificent. Namely: Elgar's Cello Concerto in E Major featuring Jacqueline Du Pre.
Not usually a raving fan of classical music, this piece is remarkable for the way the cellist interprets the music and this adds something to make this piece stand out. I have since acquired a set of Jacqueline Du Pre's work and found that other pieces including Elegie in C Minor and Saint Seans - The Swan are equally appealing. Well worth a recommendation.
