I certainly hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting this link to another (I hope friendly) forum. If so I apologize unreservedly.
This link is a great read all the way through and is long awaited for those looking to upgrade their Technics turntables with a new armboard (http://www.vinylengine.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=22017).

Thanks Scorp. Good to know I didn't rumple any feathers.
I don't get any kickbacks from Adalbertuss. He has also been able to build/mill new springs for the suspended chasis Technics (like my SL-1400MK2 and SL-1500MK2's). I ordered a set from him; haven't installed them yet; but, I am looking forward to reviving one of my SL-1500MK2's. Comparing them with the old springs they certainly look the business and should go a long way to solving the plinth sag the causes the platter to contact the chassis after the old springs have given way; a common issue with many of these model tables. I don't know of anywhere else to get these springs. Technics says they don't have any left and the parts suppliers had a good laugh when I asked about them.
