Since my Onkyo TA-2090 is out having some warranty work done I've decided to bring the Yamaha K-1000 out of the bedroom system and hook it up to the living room one. Right now I'm recording the 24 KT + Gold cd remaster of THE DOOBIE BROTHERS' "Minute By Minute"(put out by Audio Fidelity) onto a Fuji DR-II. I want to compare the recording to the one I made with the Onkyo. The left and right recording meters don't seem to be set quite even but the tape sounds pretty decent so far. The thing I miss about the Onkyo is the output level adjustment knob.
