Tascam 122mki speed warbling?

I just fired up my Tascam 122b (original version), and the speed is all over the place...very unsteady.

I have never even opened this one up, but what should I start looking for? belts turned to goo?

maybe pinch roller mech needs cleaning and relubing?*scratchchin*

I'd relube it first, and let it run for 30minutes or so before you do anything. I just had a capstan motor controller fail on me and the speed did the same thing, so that's a possibility.

I just opened up my spare unit, which never did play, and the belt is super stretched on the capstan drive motor....

So I am guessing that it is the same issue with my main deck.

Any leads on a pair of 122 drive belts?
