Well, I am back from Camp Jump Start, and the numbers are in.....

Height:
5'11"

Weight:
305--->283 pounds

Mile:
17:21--->12:55

Flexibility:
increased 5 inches (never saw the actual numbers, just was told that I improved 5 inches in the sit and reach test)

Abs:
~35 crunches in a minute---->70 in a minute

feeling pretty good too.........DAMN.....this is great....

The Pioneer/Realistic system I brought was not sed much, as it was not loud enough, but I got my mother to bring the JVC RC-M70 ghettoblaster, and that was used a LOT...

The Peavey CS-400.....well...I am glad that it can compress instead of clip, as it was balls to the wall driving Bose 301's and 401's (one pair each) through a Rat Shack speaker selector. almost halfway decent sound (well, better than expected) coming from that system.....

I was also the DJ for the dance they had there, and a lot of people liked what I played (some new stuff mixed in from other people's iPods). One of my few beefs (and this one really got me) is that the counselors changed Stairway to heaven after 3 minutes, complaining of the length, and then puts on Thriller.....as I was dancing with my date .....

......and I was PROMISED that I was on complete control, and that no one would screw with my stuff....not even the counselors.......

......and 8 people requested Stairway......

......and they let me play The Music of the Night all the way through......

.......and they switched it to Thriller.......which pissed me off most of all....I almost ripped the amp out of the cart and threw it on the lawn because of that...but I settled with chewing out the counselor in charge, which they did not appreciate, but I feel that it was deserved....and only then did they understand what they had done....

ok....rant over.....

once I get to a scanner, I'll post before and after pix.

I got home at about 6, and I looked at my Scott 350, and two tubes do not light up, so I'll be looking into that tomorrow, and I have decided to try my hand at recapping the Eico HF-20. So expect a thread on those fairly soon....I want to get that tube mono HiFi running so I can use it with the wonderful treadmill that Rex Everything on AK gave to me.

Also, if anyone knows anything about rebelting a Concept ELC, please let me know. I'd love to see that deck play again. It looks better than any other I have seen, IMO.

So that's all that's new with me......

It sounds like you made the most of your time there.
Congragulations, bet you feel better now too.

Sounds like it was all worth going. Good for you. I bet you have lots to catch up on. And we assume you escaped the wrath of AK by not being banned as the rest of us were.

I was just reading through the Cheese and Whine forum, and I am definitely surprised at what I see.......*eyepop*

I am just going to try to go on like nothing has happened, and hopefully the banhammer will not fall upon my own head.

Let's do it!

I'll give it my best shot. The treadmill is working, so now i have no excise for not exercising. Definitely a good thing.

I have another goal: to be able to bike to and from my friend Lew's house by the end of November, which is about 7 miles away.

Done deal just stay away from the f---in potato chips and snickes bars

I dislike candybars and chips.

Just went for a mile bike ride this evening, and tomorrow morning I get to haul some electronics home from school *reelspin*

I'll try for the dormant Teac 3340 *reelspin**hope*
Carrying that sucker 5 blocks home will net me a LOT of exercise.
Welcome back David. Good Job. :)

Thanks!
