Over the last couple of weeks, I've bought a lot of blank tapes. I think I have somewhere in the neighborhood of 250-300 blank cassettes now & to tell you the truth, I don't think I need to buy anymore. Of course, there are always exceptions. Those would be any decent auctions of Maxell XLII-S 90 on Ebay and the Akai SX 90 for only $4.50/box on B&B. I may buy 5 or 6 more boxes of those, just because it's such a good type I blank tape that once they're gone, I'll know I'll be kicking myself for not buying more of them.

Give it a week or two, you will find more that you have to have. :D

I know I suffer from that too. I have way more tapes then I suspect I'll ever use, but the deals keep coming and those rare tapes I gotta have them. My buddy here in town was shaking his head yesterday when he saw I bought more tapes (specifically reel to reels this time), and he said "One day you'll get tired of this and lose interest." Maybe so- but not at this time. If I ever do get tired of this hobby, I'll have some good tapes to sell hopefully when people will still buy them.

My thoughts exactly. But NAD, your tape-purchasing extravaganza has benefited me and many others here, so we're not complaining.
