hello y'all.

I am wiring up my system, and using an audio distribution amplifier (Sigma ADA-210), and when connecting to my Teac X-3, I have a strange problem.

When I connect one of the two RCA cables, the signal is fine, and when I connect the other, the signal on the first channel cuts out entirely, and the signal just connected comes up.

Connecting the same outputs to a Tascam 122b and Teac 3340s show no issues...

Ideas?

I'm gonna say the Sigma amp has a capacitor problem.

Have you tried reversing the L/R connections in both directions? from the input on the amp and the output on the X-3?

Yes, I have tried that, and other known working connections from the Sigma, but still the same...

Interesting, I know it sounds like it's the Teac's at fault then, but, my gut tells me it's an issue with the Sigma.

Do you have a DMM to test the caps and resistors? I can't find my SM for the X-3 :(.
