AKAI Boombox PJ-33. DOA, Usable parts?

I found a busted PJ-33 at a thrift. 1$!
Broken: Mode switch (TAPE, CD/AUX, AM, FM, etc...)
Anyone know if the main belt from the tape deck would fit my sick Sony TC-FX210?
