I have a copy of this tape at 7.5ips from MCA records (MCAS 2128-a.
My question is about the song order, side one goes from Good Bye YBR to Don't Let the sun go down on me; is this the proper order?

I don't know about the tape. But just on a hunch, I suspect any deviation from the LP sequence to be not for sinister reasons, but for simple timing and continuity. The songs were probably sequenced to fill both sides of the tape as equally as possible without leaving any more excessive blank than needed on one side.

the times don't match up for the reason of most songs on a side, are you leaving any out?
