I think it is a play on why Matt got banned. Some people value the discount more than the actual item. Meaning they would purchase just because the item was significantly discounted. In the cases of the pictures posted, those items would be significantly discounted because of there condition. Not that you would really want to own one of them.

But hey I got a motor home and a boat for $100 and a sofa to go in it for 50 cents. -noteeth-
