I would like to personally roll out the red carpet for our newest TapeHeads.Net member, Superfly, a.k.a. Larry.

He is a good friend of mine and we go way back. We first "met" on another site back when I was an avid airplane freak and photographer. We used to post lots of tape deck messages and show off our reel to reels. Some people supported us. But of course, being that it's more of an Ipod crowd there, most just laughed at us. We have also met up at some California area airports and watched planes and took lots of pictures. He has also been over to my place and has auditioned the real Des-Lab system in person!

Superfly lives in the Bay area.

He's quite a character. He has travelled extensively throughout the world and has some great stories to tell. And he has the pictures and passport stamps to prove it.

Superfly is *THE* 70's man. If it's 70's, he is ON it. The cars, the airplanes, the music, and the overall styles, he has it down cold better than anyone I know. He loves classic American cars from the period, has an extensive tape, vinyl, and 8-track collection.

And, like me, he has impeccable taste in women, loves a good steak, and if there's a bottle of Cold Duck around to be chugged, he's there too.

I spoke with him a little while ago and set up his username. I don't think he is really familiar with the VBulletin system we use here/ But he's pretty sharp and should have it down in no time at all. Though he probably won't actually be posting and checking in until sometime tomorrow.

So Larry "Superfly"

Welcome.

And beware all. He WILL rule the 8-track and vinyl boards in no time at all!
