I'm just curious, he's been back from camp for a while now, maybe he got to turn over a new leaf and quit the internet stuff in the bargin? I've been cruising other sites for my own purposes,and I've not seen him, or his signature remarks, or course I can't look at AK to see if he survived over there, if anyone has his personal e-mail, could you get in contact with him for me, tell him stuwee has some personal stuff for him, thanks

Are you sure he is back? I thought the camp was for one month. His last post was July 6th so I wouldn't expect him back for another week or so. :-?

As the old saying goes. Great minds think alike. After I got up from bed this morning and was sitting on the patio, waking up and having my morning smokey, I was wondering the very same thing. Since he hasn't been around, will he have survived the bloodbath?

David is an immensely popular guy in these circles. Not just because of his equipment or personality, but equally because he's probably the youngest one (save for myself when I was his age) that had such a passion for the hobby. He represents the next generation of analog.

We all know that Grumpy is a man of few or no morals and no shame. Would he banish him too?

Has anyone sent David a "heads-up" warning e-mail?

I guess we'll know here in a week or so.

You're right but, it was no internet or communication to the outside of camp world for the first week only, maybe it was a Richard Simmons cult thing, how ghastly, I sure hope he's ok, it's not like him not to check in, David, your mother's and father's are calling and worried about you!!!

I wonder if he's still waiting for that package...you know the one your suppose to get while in camp,the one with the goodies/treats/etc.from home when your in camp.In David's case,if it was from say...all of us,I'm sure it would be loaded with the usual offerings for the sweet tooth and possibly some audio goodies,blank NOS tapes,a nice set of studio headphones....what else??....help me out here guys,if you were in his place,what would like to see in a care package from a bunch of audio guys on a forum you left behind for a month of fun at camp?? Well If I remember correctly he said he would have access to the internet through his cell phone. If he is doing anything he might be reading, but I doubt he would do any posting.

I did look last night and he was still a member, although the situation could change at any time.

Haven't seen or heard from David for over a week. He hasn't checked in at any of the usual sites. I guess I could offer him another pair of my Advents and he might surface.....LOL

I assumed his camp would last for a couple of weeks at least. I guess we will know when he's back!!
