I love my gadgets. I learned to fix all manner of audio equipment via my technical training at the full expense of the US Government. All I had to do in return for that training was to apply it for them while wearing the same exact clothes as my co-workers, while I rode around on a ship that was bristling with weapons.
After having completed many years of service, I went to school and have never really stopped the school thing.
I am employed as a techno-weenie for Intel and work to try to make chip testing better, faster and cheaper. I haven't left my technical roots, which gives me a pretty good foundation when I dig into my own equipment.
I will try not to be a *butt*

Welcome to TH! What format(s) are you into?
Anything that will accurately reproduce what the recording engineer intended.
I hate throwing things away, and thus have accumulated lots of things over the years. One day, and this is for Scorpion8, I will bring back the "Lifetime Replacement Guarantee" Zappa tape I bought at Mother's Music in Norfolk, Virginia in 1986 and see if they meant it.

Ha! I have two tapes around somewhere with those stickers in them from (I believe) a Mother's Music in/near Pascagoula, MS where HAYLER was during PSA. Date: ~ Sep 1983. I remember the Mother's in Norfolk and used to go there a lot.
