I haven't messed with it yet, no instructions.... does anyone know anything about it? I'll play with it and see if I can come up with anything to go on tomorrow evening. I'll also post better pictures of the hook ups and control names.
Oh and if I didn't mention... I don't have a clue yet.

Even if it doesn't work or you don't know how to use it, it looks pretty cool.

Greetings folks,
The unit should not be too hard to figure out if you know what they are used for or have used a unit before. Basically, W&F Meters are nothing but fine filters usually of 3 KHz or 3.15KHz and then meters that are amplified to the level detecting variance from those standard frequencies. There is also weighting applied to the readings possible to help determine what the effect will be with respect to the human ear and these actually make the readings look better. they also contain precision oscillators for the recording of the signal and then comparison of it played back. Mostly these are just reference oscillators buffered and brought out for recording evaluations.
Teac had the Meguro Dempa units, I use the Leader LFM-39A. These are expected to be used with an alignment tape depending on the speed of the deck you have. Some come with frequency counters in them, some do not.
I hope this helps.

Thank you so much. Your info got me going on what I need to get some use out of this unit. There is even a 3Khz test tape on the bay now I should pursue... unless I can come up with one elsewhere.

Yeah.. no paperwork whatsoever. I'll just put it on my projects not done yet list and keep a look out for what it takes to get some use out of it.
