Being the Pioneer fan you are and I don't remember you mentioning R2R.... do you have aspirations of getting one of those RT-909's? I have always been surprised that they list (but don't have a write up) about the 1011 when the 1020L's were the more feature latent model. I have two RT1020L's and a RT1011L. I use the Teac's more at this time... but those 1020's are a fine machine.
Great site I've also had bookmarked for some time also... when folks come over and just think I have 'old stereo stuff'.... I show them the write up of my Yamaha CA1010 there.

Lots of pictures of great equipment there. I love to go and browse every once in while.

I really like their Sony section. I've always wanted one of those integrated amps they made from the late 60's-early 70's, especially the TA-1130 & TA 1120A.

i just don't see myself getting into R2R anytime soon. as far as magnetic audio tape is concerned; pretty much compact cassette only for me...
