once upon a time and many years ago zz top appeared on the johnny carson show (http://video.google.com/videosearch?hl=en&source=hp&q=zz+top+on+johnny+carson&um=1&ie=UTF-8&ei=o7DSSrrPBNG9lAfF4uGoCg&sa=X&oi=video_result_group&ct=title&resnum=4&ved=0CBkQqwQwAw#). i wasn't there but i did hook up a cassette deck and recorded their audio performance. doc severinson accompanied them. the bands' performance was...ok.
anyhoo, that's what i'm listening to right now. it's really great to hear carsons voice again. and the band.
and how clever-carson went to commercial right at the very end of the tape.
