Last night I found a TDK D-60 among my cassettes. To be honest, I hardly remembered ever having used one before, but I recognized it when I found it. The music I recorded on it was before I had a cassette deck, so it was music dubbed on my Seiko boombox from another cassette.

After I RW & FF the tape all the way through, I gave it a listen. I must say, there was not too much hiss on the tape; a little, but not very much. My boombox had no Dolby & the pre-recorded cassette, which I still have, doesn't have the Dolby logo on it anywhere. The sound was great; no drop-outs, no warping, no nothing, except music. Also, those TDK tapes were built pretty well. Very smooth in the transport while playing & FF/RW. Why I didn't buy more of these I'll never know.

Most of my TDK Ds are from this period.
All play fine. *reelspin**reelspin*
