This is my first posting and an intro. I'm Craig, originally from Ontario Canada but currently living in British Columbia. My first exposure to tape was when I was a kid in the early 60's. My father bought a high end Philips reel to reel and I used it for taping songs off the radio instead of buying 45's. CHUM-AM during the 60's was my station of choice.
I still have that old Philips tube reel and it's semi-working. Since then, I've bought and still own many cassette decks starting with an RCA mono in 1971, Akai's best front loader in 1978, and many other cassette and reel to reel desks since then. Also have an enormous vinyl collection and a stack of vintage audio equipment.
Looking forward to reading the postings in the various groups and I'll step in if there is something that I can offer!
