So I'm digging through my old box of cassettes and find Kick by INXS and clean it up and stick in in the Onkyo deck....
Wow.. this is almost like a greatest hits recording. I mean.. check out the hits that came off this cassette/album back in the day.
hits ----
1. New Sensation
2. Devil Inside
3. Need You Tonight
4. Mediate
5. Never Tear Us Apart
6.Mystify
it's rare anymore for an album to have more than say 2 or 3 hits. but 6? Impressive. *eyepop*

That was one of the better efforts of the 80's.
I picked up that album for my wife and was suprised by how good it sounded.

Agreed, Michael Hutchance was such an amazing talent.. he had it all. Certainly one of the best bands that came out of the 80's music scene.

Aside from Pink Floyd, INXS was the other band I have every album they made. Loved Kick. What a period of time that was and I even went to two of their concerts. The new INXS isn't bad either with the new Canadian singer, but they haven't done much since that first album.

If you love Kick you should get their Live Baby Live dvd. A fantastic London gig with some bonus material. It is like they playing encores for 2 hours.

Hows the size of the crowd at that concert? It seems to go on forever
