I don't know of any single well, stand alone decks currently in production. However, this Tascam looks like a pretty decent deck.

I've found some Denon decks, too, but I can't find a website for the Denon pro gear.

If you're interested in one of these Tascam decks, you should really act right away. I seriously doubt they are actually still being manufactured; what you are likely seeing is stock that is still available new, once sold...that's it.
Up until last year you could still buy the Tascam 122, a really nice 3 head deck. Now it's gone. These decks are designed/marketed for commercial use, when commercial users replace equipment...they are going the digital route for convenience (hard drive units).
So if you like the unit....and want one new...don't wait!

I saw a few stores online still have some of the Tascam 102's & 112's in stock.

Wow those prices are *eyepop* I remember Tascam having tank like build quality, are the new ones the same, or cheesier, cost-cutting, quality wise, I'm serious, I haven't seen, heard, touched one, $350 is alot for me, $700+ is out of the question but, if it's like the good old days? Dunno.

The thing to remember is that these decks are commercial/pro audio decks. Pro audio decks always cost quite a bit more...they are built to higher standard, especially regarding mechanical parts. I believe the model 122 (single well, 3 head) was regularly priced well over $1,000.00, I believe at around $1,500. So the $700 range isn't far off for the 2 head model.

Back in '93 when I bought my Sony TC-WR535, I paid $199 @ Sears. I believe it was the 2nd from the TOTL dual cassette deck in the regular Sony line. The next series up from that was the ES line, where I believe the decks started at about $500.

So, has anyone layed their hands on one of these Tascams, and used it, I understand the Pro deck part but, times have changed. I've seen some really cheesey build stuff on other high priced equipment from Asia, No Thanks on that crap. I'd ask my recording studio buddys but, they all use digital now, no cassettes, barely even RtR, and those are brought in by the band recording there, so even that verys.
