Yes,everything worked with headphones,so far.Need to use a can of Deoxit though, and a few squirts of Flitz Stainless Steel and Chrome Cleaner should bring back that audio showroom shine!! Rob

My first real stereo was a Akai I had in '73.
They did make some good stuff.

I'll bet the Yamaha A-550 is the best sounding of the lot. Nice little integrated there.

Rob, you're startin' to scare me, first the York boombox, now a Lloyds? *Hi5*
Seriously, you have been busy, I'm curious which ones have pre-out/main-in's so you can really play with the sound, you know, like if xxx has a better tuner/phono section, and xxy has more power, or wwz has less power but, sounds sweeter *Spin* *hypnot* *devil* Just a thought

Holy crap, all that in a month? I'd be lucky if I made that many scores in a year (though the Lloyds might not count...;) ).
Apparently there's something in the water where you're from!

i saw a little early-80's silver faced, FL-display SCOTT receiver at the GW the other day. tiny, korean made, low end POS of it's day that looked downright high end compared to comporable units of today...
