I wonder if this splicing tape is still usable.
What do you think?

I think it will be unusable.

Might be ok. Splicing tape is designed to be stable and last a long time. If it was kept in a hot wharehouse it might turn to goo.

Wow, deja vu. I have a roll of this exact same product from back in my days working at Sunstrand Data Control circa 1980. While the product is still usable, it doesn't have much adhesion. In my last purchase from us recording, I added a roll for about the cost of a beer. If your roll works use it, if not you know where to get more.
