Well, I can't help it! Here's what I found on our last trip to the thrift/junk stores.

3 RCA HI-FI 90 cassettes - Type I
2 Sony HF 60 cassettes - Type I
1 Sony HF 60 (Square case, gold wrapper, made in France) - Type I
1 TDK CD Power Hi Bias - Type II
3 JVC 120 SX High Energy Magnetite VHS tapes

The VHS tapes were for this little tasty bit - A Sony SLV-575UC VHS Hi Fi Stereo VCR with Swing Shuttle and High Speed Rewind.

Yes, I'm going to use it to record audio! And it's all you guy's fault.....well, at least the people that hang around the "Other Tape" forum! I'm will post some more pictures of the Sony over there.

Nice haul, especially the Sony VHS Hi-Fi. Sony made some excellent video recorders that do a great job in recording long uninterrupted music tapes. I've used my beta version of this one for just that. SN rival digital recordings.

Thanks NakNut! I think I did pretty good too!

I'm just trying out the Sony and I must say that I'm quite impressed with the recordings I've gotten off it so far.

If you want a Operating manual for the Sony VCR, I have a copy of one. I used to have that same VCR, but it stopped working a few years back and I sold it. I have a 63 page photo copy of the operating manual that I can send to you if you want. :)

Hey WP! The package arrived today - man that was fast! Who says you can't find a cop (Web Police) when you need one?

I just want to thank you again, I appreciate it. *yes* I even managed to find a remote for it too!

Sounds good VF, that's what this forum is for.

Glad you found the remote cause mine is long gone, I sold it with the deck on ebay for about $20 or so a few years back.
