Hey Stu... not sure if it's the L-65's... What I see peculiar about these is the grill doesn't cover the front as much as normal - you have the cabs showing a few inches of wood on the top and bottom.

Seller doesn't know either... he says the speaks are his mother in law's.. Trying to arrange a looksee tomorrow tho... *eyepop*

Those are definitely vintage and now that you've verified that they're JBL's they are absolutely A HUGE score! Those should already be in your possesion and I wouldn't be dragging your feet on picking them up tomorrow. I can't believe they're even still available. Those grills are supposed to be like that . They designed them that way on a lot of older JBL's. Seriously dude... You need to run and not walk to this one. Just try and verify with the owner that no drivers have been changed out on them. My guess would be that if even one set (whether they be the woofers, tweeters or whatever...) of the drivers in those is original, they are worth at least the asking price.
