Drop dead gorgeous looks, big VU's in the classic blue/red backlit scheme *hypnot*!
I'f it's been mantained in proper spec, a very nice sounding machine, I'd hav it in my main system on it's looks alone *Hi5*

Reminds me of the old Fisher I had. *crying*
I miss the days of the Fisher/Marantz gear...that 5030 is definitely a looker. For a late 70's deck, I'd say it ranks right up there near the top - if not the top - of the Marantz line. Being a three head with Dolby pretty much deems it as one of the upper eschelon in the series, pre-80's.

TOTL deck that matched the 2130/3650/300DC set.

I totaly agree with you. the meters are ever so accurate aswell, other than the fact that it is hard to see the needle at times. but otherwise it is an awsome deck*Hi5*
