Found this cassette at a thrift for $0.25. Now how can you pass up a tape full of Russian babes for that price? But... the Side A is kind of ethnic-folksie music, and side B is some absolute pop with guitars and all. But... what does it say? Can anyone translate?

Russian is an unusual language, if you were talking Hungarian, the Finnish could understand and even talk back and forth they're so similair but, Russian.....Meh!

Nyet! :)

Well i got a dictionary, I looked the words up. If it makes sense to anybody the title is:

"Two pieces of sausage from beautiful girls"

probably it is a saying or phrase...

add: I was taught Russian for 8 years. Obviously we hated it and did not profit much from the lessons.
However we picked up English quickly from serials (Family Ties) and from pop/rock songs.

Well, not exactly. We have 2-300 base words which quite the same (like water), but we (Hungarians) picked up many Turkish, Slavic and later German words and the language evolved in the past couple of thousand years. The language system, of course, is similar, we put suffixes at the end of the words instead of using prepositions and playing around with word order such as Italian and Germanic languages do. I have heard Finnish people talking and I haven't understand anything.

Finnish is "rare" and even in Helsinki, all the street plates are written in two languages: finnish and sweedish.

I, being of Russian heritage unfortunately can't read it. I can verbally speak and understand a few words and phrases. But sorry. No go on the Cyrillic alphabet.

However my mother can speak and read Russian fluently. I am going to see her this weekend. I'll make a printout and show it to her and get an answer.

Thanks. Isn't it odd how all the writing is in Russian except the top line Dolby-info which is English?

I could be wrong but it looks like Kombinatsiya - the all girl pop band.

I think They are professing their dislike for communism?*scratchchin*
