No. But I've BEEN to Dallas. Just once. Back on '01, spent a few days out there doing a little exploring. Original intent of trip was to spend a few days at DFW taking pictures of airliners. After sizing out the layout of that airport, I came to the conclusion that it wasn't really user friendly for the types of pictures I wanted (I was an airliner nut back then and have thousands of pictures I took over the years. One day I'll scan some). So, having a couple extra days to kill, I decided to rent a car and go exploring. Wasn't bad. Pretty much most of what I saw was the same typical 'suburban' layout that I see here in SoCal, except that it was a LOT more spread out. Even with the sprawl, I still had the feeling of open space and not stuffed in a high density environment.

I also noticed that the people in general were a LOT friendlier than they are here. And that they take steak VERY seriously. I also had a slight (but harmless) run in with a local police officer. And was inadvertantly locked inside the CR Smith museum for about three hours.

I'll see if I can dig up some prints from that trip and scan them if you are interested. Nothing terribly exciting, just proof that I was "in Dallas".
