I assume you mean CCIR? (Also known as IEC) The general consensus of those in the know is that CCIR provides the best performance, it provides considerably greater HF headroom and better SNR than NAB. The tape project uses it for these reasons amongst others, and although I use NAB I wouldn't if I had access to CCIR calibration tapes.
