Nice find! Thanks for posting this up.

Looking through that extensive collection, I think it's safe to say it is damn near a complete list of what was released - of the Japanese models. Throw the North Amercian variant model numbers on most of the applicable units and you've got a good round up of what was available in the States. If you study closely what's presented here, you can gain a clearer pictorial understanding of Sony's cassette deck development and progression - way better than 'Vintage Cassette'.

For instance:

TC-K222ESA = TC-K890ES
TC-K222ESL = TC-K870ES
TC-K333ESL = TC-K909ES
TC-K333ESG = TC-K950ES

Nice quality photos too!

Excellent find... *Hi5*

It has gaps. It has no TC-K44 (I have one) and the TC-K75 is different than the version I have sitting on my desk. Perhaps there was a Mk.1 and Mk.2 versions.

Uhm, for those of you, like me, who don't read Japanese, at all, here is the english translation that takes you to the front page for that link:

http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&u=http://audio-heritage.jp/&ei=XxHNSaX7G4yNtgesqqXxCQ&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=3&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3Daudio-heritage%26hl%3Den%26rls%3Dcom.microsoft:en-us:IE-SearchBox%26rlz%3D1I7GGLR

You can pull up Pioneer, and others too. The english translations aren't the best, but it is what it is. Enjoy.

Wow. Even has Aiwa decks in there too. Good find. Too bad the translation doesn't make much technical sense.
